The Woodlands Marathon will host the fourth annual Fleet Feet Sports 5k Run. Individuals are invited to run or walk the 5K course that will traverse the streets of Town Center and return to the finish line. Friends, Family and spectators will be able to cheer some of our first participants across the Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Marathon and the Houston Methodist Half Marathon finish line. The event will finish in Town Center in front of cheering spectators.
START TIMES (estimated):
- Marathon/Half Marathon Elite− 7:00am
- Marathon, Half Marathon & Marathon Relay − 7:00am
- 5k Run – 7:10am
- 2k – Friday, March 3rd – 6:30pm
The 5k starting line is located in the front of Town Green Park on Lake Robbins Drive. All 5k athletes must be at the starting line at 6:50am.
CORRAL CLOSURE TIMES
Corral A (marathon/relay): 6:40am
Corral B (marathon/relay): 7:00am
Corral C (half marathon): 6:40am
Corral D (half marathon): 7:00am
Corral E (5k): 7:05am
NOTE: IF YOUR CORRAL (i.e. A & C) closes at 6:40 you will move to the B & D Corrals after this time. Runners will not be able to move up to run with their friends, family members, ect. They must move back C to D to run with friends, family members, ect if those members are assigned to those corrals.
Elite Athletes will be directed to the starting line. Athletes must be in their designated corrals in order to proceed to the starting line. THE START LINE WILL CLOSE 5 MINUTES after the mass of runners have began their race.
- PROCESSING FEES are not included ($4-$10 average).
- Entry is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Race entry may be switched to another race distance for a $10 admin fee and any difference in fees if moving up in distance. Please click HERE for that information. Please email email@example.com if you would like to switch races.
Note: We may take registrations at the Houston Methodist Health and Fitness Expo.

Q: How do I register for The Woodlands Marathon?

Q: How do I make changes to my registration once it has been submitted?
A: If you would like to make changes to your registration you must do so by emailing. The Woodlands Marathon registration coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: May I DEFER my registration to the following year?
A: If you would like to defer your registration to the following year please do so by emailing The Woodlands Marathon registration coordinator at email@example.com. All deferral requests must be submitted by January 31, 2017 and require a $40 fee. You will not be charge a registration the following year but extended a registration complimentary code when registration opens. Deferals may only be deferred for one year.
Q: Can I switch from the Marathon to the Half Marathon or from the Half Marathon to the Marathon?
A: Yes, participants may switch from one race to the other by February 10, 2017 (based on availability). Participants may do this by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. A $10.00 service fee will be applied, along with any applicable entry fee difference (see the table below for fees related to switching races).

- Custom bib number with name – registered by January 15th.

All participants must be 6 years of age by March 4, 2017. Athletes younger than 6 years of age will need a parent request to participate in the 5K Run. Upon review the Race Director may grant approval.
The Woodlands Marathon will recognize the following place finishers during the awards ceremony during the Post Race Finish Festival.

AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED – The Awards Ceremony has been scheduled well in advance and in order to collect your award a runner must attend the ceremony or have someone pick it up at the Awards Ceremony. NO EXCEPTIONS
VILLASPORT BAG DROP/GEAR CHECK
Athletes will have an opportunity to drop their pre-race and post race belongings at the bag drop/gear check. Athletes will reclaim their belongings at the post race zone.
